The inverter plasma cutters from Lusqtoff’s INCUT series are known for providing an excellent plasma arc of extremely high temperature, thanks to their IGBT power source with a high voltage of 91V.
The concentration of arc heat (compression) is used for the partial melting of the metal, and the air jet continues the cut through a process similar to oxy-fuel cutting, i.e., by oxidizing the material. This melts and removes the material, forming narrow incisions.
This cutting method is widely used in the industry for its versatility and ease of automation, competing with laser and water jet cutting but at a significantly lower cost in equipment and maintenance.
The adoption of IGBT technology as the main electronic power module allows excellent current flow control, along with a high level of reliability and robustness.
Using a 40KHZ inverter frequency significantly reduces the weight and size of the main transformer, improves equipment efficiency and power factor, resulting in significant energy savings. This frequency also almost completely eliminates noise pollution.
