In Almirante Brown, registration is now open for more than 10 free training courses with near-immediate job opportunities.
The goal is to equip residents with new training tools. The Municipality announced that online pre-registration is available starting on the 19th and will remain open until all slots are filled, ranging from 25 to 30 per course, depending on the type of training.
Classes will begin in March, in person, and will take place at the Rafael Calzada Center for Job Training and the Burzaco Center for Training and Productive Innovation.
Interested parties must register via a link provided by the Secretariat of Production, Employment, and Professional Training, where they will find all necessary details, including course days and schedules.
Once the most convenient course is selected according to their schedule, they must complete a form with their personal information. You may register for only one course among all available options. Courses begin the week of March 11 and will run during the first quarter of the year.
To boost local employment, only Almirante Brown residents over 18 who are seeking employment and willing to comply with class days and times may access the training. Vacancy confirmation will be sent via WhatsApp once the application is approved.
The courses will be held at two locations and divided into different sections. At the Rafael Calzada Center for Job Training, located at Avenida San Martín No. 3752, the following courses will be offered:
In addition, a tetanus vaccination is required to participate in the Blacksmithing, Carpentry, Agricultural Skills and Tools, and Electricity courses.
At the Center for Training and Productive Innovation of the Burzaco Industrial Park, located at Junín and Tomás Guido streets, the following courses will be offered: Robotics and Automation (includes programming, circuit design with Arduino, and computational thinking); and Basic Computing Workshop (focused on familiarization with digital devices, Google tools, and digital resources for employment).
Mayor Mariano Cascallares highlighted: "We continue working to improve job opportunities in our district, offering a wide variety of training courses for all our neighbors. We want every interested person to find an option suited to their needs."
