The Joven Labrador Vocational School turns 30 and is celebrating with "30 Actions for 30 Years," a community initiative already underway. Blacksmithing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanics workshops are working on repairs and improvements for the community.
Since its founding in 1995, the school has trained young people and adults, providing them with tools for the world of work. In 2024, the celebration focuses on giving back to the community all the support received over these three decades. The institution is organizing 30 charitable, educational, and socially impactful activities to improve public spaces and offer free training.
Days ago, students and teachers from different workshops worked at the Lago Roca permanent site, where they carried out repairs in dormitories, grills, and other recreational facilities. In addition, on April 1 the Gardening workshop will clean Héroes de Malvinas Square and plant white rosebushes in tribute to the veterans. That same day, free hairdressing services will be offered to the community.
The Welding workshop will also play a key role in these actions. This Friday, a first batch of repaired waste bins made by the students will be delivered to the Municipality. Throughout the year, work will continue in educational and recreational spaces, reaffirming the school’s commitment to job training and the community’s well-being.
They are already part of the Job Board
