In an initiative that combines technical training with real employment opportunities, the Municipality of San Rafael, through its Employment Office, launched a free course to train young people in welding and lathe operation, two key trades for the industrial and metallurgical sector.
The initiative, which is also supported by the Tassaroli Foundation and the General Directorate of Schools, is aimed at final-year students and graduates of technical schools in the department. It is an intensive training program with official certification issued by the Association of Metallurgical Industrialists of the Argentine Republic (ADIMRA), which provides strong recognition in the labor market.
"It is a very good opportunity to receive training and have a potential job placement, which is completely free," said Fabiana Esperanza, coordinator of the local Employment Office.
The course has capacity for 30 participants, with classes running from May to August. The training includes theory and practice oriented to real market needs, and aims to open doors in factories, workshops, and companies in the sector.
