This right-angle welding clamp will help you create 90-degree joints. It is a mechanical screw clamp that, unlike a magnetic square, also allows you to secure non-ferrous metals or other materials like wood or plastics.
The design was contributed by Miguel David Yegüez Infante and Rogelio Cornejo from the company Invemec Guarico Ca in Venezuela, to whom we extend our gratitude for their collaboration.
Metal Mechanics Invemec Guarico Ca is a company that manufactures machines for producing ecological bricks, clod breakers, and other accessories.
The blueprint is divided into 4 images, each representing a part of the clamp, and is available for download.
The format is similar to the clamps shown in the following image:
When welding, it is recommended to firmly secure the pieces to prevent heat from causing distortion that could affect the clamp’s precision. You might also find it useful to use Pythagorean triples to ensure the 90º angle is exact.
It is recommended to view the welding clamp plans on a desktop PC or laptop, as the small details may not be visible on your phone screen. You can also download them for later reference.
